Was 17 at the time. Crazy Horse was the first act, expecting to see Neil Young but didn't show up. Yes played back to back albums. Yes album first then fragile. They were really tight from the start. Remember sitting on straw bales stacked up as a bleacher. Lucky there wasn't a fire..

I was listening to WNEW FM 102.7 in NYC at the time, when Alison Steele "the nightbird" the evening DJ, let us all know that YES, was playing in Asbury Park at the Sunshine inn. I was 17 at the time and spent summers at the Jersey shore, so I knew of the place, but had never been. I went to the show, remember very little, except, I've been a huge fan ever since. Of, course saw shows nearly every year, and in all the various formations. Incredible music, incredible band, and the "YES" vibe through out the years, may be second only to the "Dead". I though prefer YES.
