This was my first yes concert and the following night they played in Jersy my girl friend and I were listening to the Jersy show because it was broadcasted live and the sets were not the same. They did play CTTE and Sound Chaser. What great seats for this show because of the visuals.

I was at both shows They definately did not play CTTE on either night (unfortunately). I have a recording of the Roosevelt stadium show....they broadcast it 'NEW. Still great after all these years, and 38 more shows since!!!

We braved the N.Y. traffic and arrived from CT just in time for the warm-up group, The Pousette-Dart Band. They sounded great and I don't recall there being another warm-up act on this night.
YES performed well and seemed to enjoy doing their "solo spots" even more than usual.
Some friends and I made our way backstage but Moraz was the only one we were able to reach. A warm and receptive guy, he spoke of his experiences with YES and his admiration for jazz keyboardist George Duke.
All in all, another great night of YESsongs.

My first Yes show!!! I originally purchased tickets for the Jersey City show, but sold them and scored great seats right next to Steve for this one. It was the night after a Joe Frazier boxing match at the Nassau Coliseum and several programs from the fight were under our seats!! I remembered Claude-Johnson Taylor carrying out Steve's guitars before the show and once I saw the mandolin, I knew what song that meant ('All Good People"). Was only disappointed in "Sound Chaser". Not one of my favorites. "Ritual" was highlight of the show. The intro to "Roundabout" threw me off. Initially, I thought it was going to be "Yours Is No Disgrace". Having waited for several years to see them live, this has become one of the greatest concerts I have ever attended!! The next day I went down to "Manny's" Guitar shop on 47th Street in New York City praying Steve and/or Chris would stop in.

This was a show which originally was not scheduled but was added about a week, (maybe even less), before the event. These were the best seats I'd had for a show up until that time just off to the side of the orchestra seats on Howe's side. I've got a lot clearer picture in my head on this one over JFK, which I'd attended on 6/12, because I was so much closer. The fantastic Roger Dean stage set with the three "mechanical heads/lasers" were quite a sight to behold. Set list was the same as the Roosevelt Stadium gig the following night and just to dispell any rumors they did NOT play 'Close to the Edge' this time around altough I wish they had!

I seem to remember a friend who saw them at Nassau Colisseum, on the night before Jersey City, telling me they'd played CttE. Any old timers out there remember whether this was the case?
