Still perhaps the best show I've ever seen, and likely to be the
most remarkable one I'll ever see. Jon played the harp. The crab
moved up and down, and lazers tracked into the crowd causing the crowd
to go into some kind of awestruck trance. Mouths were agape and tears
flowed from some eyes. Nous sommes du soleil. I would pay a premium
price for a good film of this tour. But none seems to exist.
I've seen Yes numerous times since then, and they've always been good.
But this one was different...

What a combination, what a concert, what a show! With Renaissance as their opening act, this has got to be my most memorable concert of all time. The show had the most spectacular laser light display interwoven with their music. Hard to believe its been 31 years, I still recall this concert as if it was yesterday. Their sound was pure and spot on. The only concert I ever attended where the sound engineers actually equalized the sound system with the audience already in the house, running "white noise" to optimize the Yes sound just prior to their coming on stage. Pure magic. Thank you Yes for your contribution to my musical mind expansion.

I'll never forget the first time that I had the opportunity to see YES live. I had been a fan for about five years. I was a bit disappointed that Wakeman was not in this particular line up but I had, by then, already had heard of and owned a Patrick Moraz album.
The show was unbelievable, Renaissance started the evening with their own unique, orchestrial sound. By the time Yes came on stage the rowdy El Paso crowd was ready. My girlfriend lost one of her shoes in the crowd surge up to the stage. The performance of Close to the Edge was enough to please me. I could have gone home happy if they hadn't of played anything else. I am forty-six years old now and still a fan. I've had the opportunity to have seen them several times since that night and I own a couple of their DVDs, all of their CDs and Vinyl. Yes, I still play and collect records, I own about four turntables...just in case. My grandchildren love the Symphonic Live concert DVD. Anderson, Howe, Squire and White are still at the top of their game. Congratulations on your well deserved success and God Bless you all.

Had returned from vietnam in'72 and was attending local university.Had all YES albums but had no idea the impact that this show would have. Was the most visual and musical show I could have imagined. Have been a fan ever since (28yrs.)

This show was actually at the El Paso Civic Center and Renaissance was the opening band. Still the most visually impressive show I've ever seen and the one that turned me into a Yes fanatic.
