46 years ago. Memories fade a bit, but I've never yet seen a rock show better than this in all those years!

That was thee best concert I've EVER seen outside of Cal Jam 1!!! I've seen YES 3x but this show was tops! The stage show along with YES'S awesome music was just totally unbelievable! The Gates Of Delirium (best song of the show!!!) with the blue & green lasers thru the song, oh man, for those who missed it here in Vegas, I'm very sorry for u. Everytime I listen to it since 8/1/76, I STILL get goosebumps! When the song finished & the 100's laser beams started coming to a point as the song closed, at the very last second the last sustained note stopped, they were focused into 1 single turquoise beam that just popped out of sight & the audience totally erupted, ... 1 of those "u had to be there" things!!!

Oh, man, what a show. The green and blue laser checkerboard sweeps across the crowd were nuts.

And that whole Dinosaur Skeleton heads stage, with spot lights in the heads moving up and down over Steve Howe.

My favorite concert.

Saw this show on my Honeymoon, you should have seen the freaked out old farts leave quickly as YES went into "The Gates of Delirium", friggin' loved it!!!!!

This was my first time seeing the band. I was at the Hartford show at Colt Park earlier, but the people I went with got so wasted we never made it. I was 16 at the vegas show and remember hearing them page Pat Moraz in the casino before the show. The show was awesome. Great sound in the venue. They have torn down that hotel and built a new one in its place since then.

Since that show I've seen the band numerous times and brought my teenage kids to see them in Orlando a couple of years ago.

That lineup though, was my favorite with Pat Moraz. Wakeman is great, but there was someting very cool about Moraz. Relayer is my favorite record by them.

I was on my first big USA roundtrip and arrived in Vegas.
Walking down the strip I saw at the Aladdin that there will be a concert with one of my favorite groups "YES".
So I bought rigth away a ticket. I think it costs 10 US$.
At the beginnung the group Renaissance was playing well.
Form the yes concert I still remember a big dragon on the stage.

I was there and had 'comp' Seats, I must say the previous Post brought back some incredible memories, however I saw NO Dogs, it was at a Casino for gosh sakes, I have never seen Dogs used as Security at Casinos. On a side note, the Aladdin was so totally Cool that all afternoon during the Stage Set up & Sound Checks, the Arena was unlocked, anyone could come in. I saw a young Michael Jackson there, alone, in amazement of what was to come that night! No Dogs!

Yes played in 1976 at the Aladdin in Las Vegas. After the show, the crowd would not leave, we continued to clap and scream. (Unlike crowds these days...when the lights go on, we leave like little sheep!) The Aladdin security guards brought out dogs, yes dogs, on leashes to try to persuade us to leave, but we kept on cheering. After about 20 minutes, Yes came back on stage, traded instruments( Jon on drums, Chris on keyboards, Patrick on guitar, etc) and they played a wild version of the Beatle's "I'm Down" Besides seeing all the Yes men around the casinos gambling, this has to go down as my favorite Yes concert of all time.
