On the 18th at Cobo, the beginning of the concert was delayed for quite a long period of time. I recall that at one point a member of the crew announced that the reason for the delay was that the equipment was being fine-tuned since the concert was being recorded for an upcoming live album. It turned out that music from the previous night (the 17th) was used on "Yesshows." I remember being very disappointed that the set did not start out with "Firebird Suite" and even more disappointed that the concert did not include "Close to the Edge." At that time, I could not believe that Yes could ever play a date without performing CTTE.
