To answer a previous reviewer, there was no opening act, in fact the was no opener on any of Yes' In The Round shows, be it Tormato, 10th Anniversary, Drama or Union. How could there be, really? Anyways, after seeing a not-the-best opening night several weeks earlier in Toronto I decided to give this lineup a second chance. The show was very similar, excellent instrumentation & grim, subpar vocals. Problems abounded, at one point the show was stopped due to a technical issue involving the revolving stage. I was told by a crew member afterwards that the stage was rotated using a small motor, meanwhile below the stage all the pertinent cables to mics & instruments slowly wound around a pillar in the center. After a certain number of revolutions the stage was stopped then rotated the other way. I guess it rotated too far in one direction & a bunch of cables were yanked from their fittings, including Squire's rig. So while that was being fixed no music was happening, a pro vocalist would have been able to keep the audiences attention but Horn was no pro & just stood there looking very uncomfortable. These 2 Drama shows, while I love the album, were among the worst Yes shows I've seen, and I've been to over 70 of them.

Saw them 9/17/80 Memorial Aud in Buffalo. I too found out like an hour before the concert that Jon and Rick weren't playing in the band anymore. Does anyone remember who the opening act was? Would greatly appreciate it if anyone could tell me I'm trying to compile a list of all my concerts from the early 80's.
