I saw this show. In the round, Downes wearing a cool mylar-looking suit, Horn these big sort of Elton John style sunglasses. The new line up was pretty well received and Horn sang well, even on the Anderson numbers. I was close, 14th row or so, and on Roundabout the aisles filled with dancers rocking out. I went with Arthur Greenburg. Right before the show, he stands up, all dressed in white (like John Anderson), turns to the crowd, raises his arms over his head, and shouts: "Are you ready to SEE GOD?" Ha ha. People were laughing and yelling. Good time had by all.

Trevor's only adlib was that he liked the Arch.

I'm 99% sure that Yes played 'Parallels' on the 9/25, 1980 St. Louis show. In fact, I was thinking that they opened the show with it although I didn't see them opening any other Drama tour shows with it. The show started real late, like 90 minutes late. And then they only played for about 90 minutes in all, very disappointing. I'm positive that the show started about 90 minutes late and was a short show (about 90 minutes, as opposed to the Tormato tour, which was more like 2 1/2 hours). So I wouldn't be surprised if they changed their setlist and decided to do a shorter setlist. For instance, I know for sure that they played all 5 of the Drama songs listed, but I think they may have skipped some of the older songs like 'Yours Is No Disgrace'.

I saw the 9/25, 1980 Drama tour show in St. Louis. I was familiar with Trevor and Geoff. I was shocked by the Departure of Jon Anderson. I thought the Drama album was OK. Concert attendance for this tour was poor in the Midwest. The show I saw was half full. Nowhere near a sellout. Too many people deserted the band due to the line-up change. It was a good show, but not a great one. The playing was good by Squire and Howe.
