On page 117 of David Watkinson's book "Jon Anderson & The Warriors: the road to Yes", there is a black-and-white photograph of Yes playing at the Marquee on 27th November 1968. Ex-Syn vocalist, Steve Nardelli, is in the audience. This is one of VERY few known photographs taken of the band in 1968 and possibly the oldest known live photograph of the band in existence. In the photograph, Bill Bruford's original Yes bass drum head is visible, the one of a lady with long hair, pre-dating the speech bubble logo.
