SeanTGuitar Monday, November 9, 2015 7:26 PM Syd Arthur was an inspired opening act. I don't recall much about the music but it was nice for a younger act to get taken on tour and given that level of exposure. Yes once again did a decent rendition of the CTTE album, on par with the prior tour more or less. The hilight for this round was seeing Fragile in it's entirety. Most of the tunes I had seen before so the little tunes were what was most interesting. The epics were good too though. It was cool to hear Roundabout not as an encore. South Side wasn't as good as the 2002-2004 dueling versions, but it was tasty and Geoff swapped a few solos with Steve at the end in a more reserved trade off (not really a duel). Heart of The Sunrise was quite good with an extra dose drama. Maybe the coolest live moment from this old lineup and great to see Chris play it one last time. RIP Chris. Thanks for decades of great music and shows! This was probably the tightest I had seen this lineup and a suitable way to wrap up a lifetime of fandom. |
