According to Peter Banks' autobiography "Beyond and Before", Yes were supported by a band called Mushroom at this gig. Mushroom featured singer Colin Carter who would later form Flash with Peter Banks. In the book, Banks also recalls that he and Tony Kaye got very drunk on champagne the night before and both felt dreadful on the journey to the gig from London, with Kaye being physically sick out of the window on the journey and actually having to leave the stage partway through the show to be ill again.
