Tanner Monday, August 4, 2025 5:32 PM I was already as big a Yes fan as I was a Jethro Tull fan, so this was a dream lineup for me. This concert was like sensory overload. Both bands were so much tighter and more polished than most other bands I had seen at the time. An amazing concert and memory. I still have the ticket stubs but don't see a way to upload. G Wright Thursday, September 12, 2024 9:06 PM My very first concert! It amazes me to find the actual date of this. I was 14, had just gotten braces, and felt like a short-haired dork amid all the cool older kids. I went with a buddy to hear Jethro Tull. There was a band with a weird name "Yes" beforehand. They made no impression on me, frankly, and I'd even forget they were the opener except for some vague memory. Strange, because Yes, along with other prog greats ELP, Genesis and Gentle Giant, would a year later become my #1 fav band! What I'd give to travel back in time! Braces, zits and all! Stella Luna It is hard to believe that it has been 35 yrs. That was one evening I will never forget, Yes will be a part of my life forever, this concert is one that will live in my heart forever. I can remember that evening vividly. I feel peace in my life when I listen to Yes. Thank you! |
