Alessandro Borri Tuesday, May 25, 2021 4:17 AM Jay Thursday, February 6, 2014 7:20 AM OK So apparently there is a "Berlin Yes Album Tour" bootleg circulating and no one can specify which date it is. It's either March 27 or June 5. Every time I get a copy of either date it's the same performance on the recording. Here's the link to the entire performance (both sources merged together). Hopefully someone can explain which date it actually is [Link][Link] gsparaco I think Jay is a bit confused. The Highland Cracks Appeared In The Air contains the March 27th Berlin show, not June 5th. "Everydays," which you mention, isn't even on the disc. Jay I couldn't help but notice an error about the bootleg recordings of this concert date. I recently got a hold of the "Cracks Appeared In The Air - Germany" recording. There are tracks from two different dates on this CD. The last three tracks (Clap/Classical Gas, Perpetual Change, and Everydays) are from the Boblingen Sportshalle, Stuttgart show on 04/16/1971.......which is correct. The first five tracks (Also Sprach Zarathustra Intro, Yours Is No Disgrace, I've Seen All Good People, Clap/Classical Gas, and Perpetual Change) are written as tracks from the Berlin Arts Festival, Deutschlandhalle show on 03/27/1971. These first five tracks are in fact an audience recording of the 06/05/1971 show at the Sportpalast in Berlin. The reason I know this is that i have a soundboard recording of three tracks from that Sportpalast show (Clap/Classical Gas, Perpetual Change, and America). The recordings of "Clap/Classical Gas" and "Perpetual Change" are the same as the "Cracks Appeared...." bootleg. So, there are recordings of the entire show with the exception of Everydays. I just thought I'd clear that up. |
