This was my first Yes concert. Sat on the right side about 20 feet away from the PA. It was LOUD!!!! My ears were ringing with good vibes for a long time afterward! (34 years plus to be exact!) The warmup band was Tranquility and they were good enough that I bought their album, "Silver". Don't know their fate....
Yes played their stuff so well. I couldn't believe they could duplicate their music live. That is what impressed me the most, plus being a guitarist, how could I ignore Steve Howe? Every guitarist that I know wants to emulate him!

This was the very first time I saw Yes. I was a student there at the time. For the life of me, I've never been able to remember who the warmup band was. All I remember is that they were European (probably British), sounded "progressive," and had an album out (on the Epic label) which a friend of mine bought after seeing them at that show. If anyone has the answer, I sure would like to know. Yes, by the way, was great, But I was sorry Mr. Bruford had already departed the band. I saw him later with UK and King Crimson, though.
