We went in Rome from the italian province with three friends and (my father !! LOL It is a too long story to explain why! :) ) I remember the gig as one of their best (I've seen 5 Yes gigs) mainly for unusual playlist of song, many from the ABWH album, but I like that album. It remained in my mind expecially "Order of the Universe" , "Birthright" but also "Sweet Dream" was a nice surprise. They wear the same stage-clothes you can see on the DVD of that tour. I've also seen for the first time Tony Levin. Nice memories of that "mission"

I was there that day with my dad and a mutal friend of ours, I was 16 at the time and already a Yes fan. This was the very first time we all (youngsters) had the opportunity to listen to some old Yes stuff and watch the original fab four play together after all those years. The gig started with Steve entering the stage on his own and playing "The Clap" and "Mood For a Day"... then came Rick with his usual numbers, then Jon and Bill for a rendition of "We Have Heaven", and that's when the actual gig started. I can't actually remember anything about the rest of the gig, I had probably been too impressed by their entrance that it blew my mind off. The audio quality was pretty bad, as usual at Palasport in Rome (check many other people who watched Yes at Palasport, they'll tell you exactly the same thing), but it was my first Yes gig, so I was thrilled. At the end of the gig, getting out of Palasport I spotted a guy and his blond lady, who was probably a bit too pissed off... in fact she vomited in front us all of a sudden, so I decided that was my time to hurry off the palace and finish my first Yes experience!!! -:)
