This was my first time seeing my favorite band! I was not going to miss it,cause I did have the flu,so I missed the Aerosmith concert the night before. I had to be well enough too see ABWH. I was like a little kid at Christmas opening presents! I have waited to see this band Yes,since I was 14 in 1979. Eleven years later,my dream came true! (I still felt like crap), but when they hit the stage,all was forgotten. They played flawless in my opinion! I finally saw my favorite guitarist of all time! I wished Squire was there,cause he is my favorite bass player,and so is Geddy! I have seen Yes six times since then...1991,1994,1998,1999,2001,and 2002. I have to say that the 2002 show was my favorite,cause it had the classic lineup...Anderson,Squire,Howe,wakeman,and White,but this show is the most memorable for me,because of being the first I have seen. Rock on fellow Yes fans!

This is the first time I ever saw any members of "Yes" in concert this being the ABWH tour. The concert was held at the old historic Paramount Theater. I smuggled a small flash bulb camera into the venue and sat in the 3rd row of the upper mezzanine. The "Time And A Word/Owner Of A Lonely Heart" medley by Jon Anderson was beautiful. Rick Wakeman's solo was awesome, he tore it up on side and down the other. Tony Levin was incredible with the funk fingers and his duo with Bruford was excellent. I remember that during "Close To The Edge" there was a woman who was down on the far right hand aisle of the main concourse who had a long white dress on that looked like a gown and she danced very fluidly but like a maniac for the entire song. The pictures turned out alright even from the distance that they were taken from. A memorable performance.
