This show was amazing even after 18 years to the day. The love that was felt that evening will never be forgotten by the band. Jon was delivered multiple bouquets of assorted flowers and roses from women in the audience. Someone made and then gave the band this amazing 10 foot square quit that had the YES logo and other stuff embroidered. Jon wore it, then came into the crowd for hugs and spoke of the Berlin Wall coming down the night they were in Germany and how it had a profound effect on the band and the world. Then the went into The Meeting, if my memory serves me.

The music was phenomenal, the band was on their mark. Having Tony Levin on board was a special treat, with Chapman Stick and all. The A.B.W.H. material was very powerful and was receive well by all.

At least the 10th time I saw "the band"..
My wife & I took a walk after the show and grabbed a coffee to avoid traffic leaving the show. Our timing was perfect as we returned and by chance ran into Tony Levin & his family. Great guy, very gracious and personable - the only musician I could imagine stepping in for Squire. A few minutes later caught a glimpse of Anderson leaving via limo and Kathleen had a few word with Jon & shook his hand. She's never been the same!

The show: Fantastic although we did miss Squire's persona on stage.

The Wang Center provided the perfect venue, as this theater was built specifically for live music. Every note and nuance could be heard with a clarity not heard at most venues outdoor or indoor. This was my first time seeing "Yes" and the only thing missing was Chris Squire, for obvious reasons.

I thought the solo intros to the show were unusual, but entertaining. Hearing Jon's acoustic "Owner Of A Lonely Heart" was a left-field surprise and Rick Wakeman's fleet-fingered piano tinkerings are not to be believed, particularly when witnessed first-hand.

Bill Bruford seemed able to coax nearly any sound he wanted out of his massive electronic drumkit and Steve Howe was in fine form, playing a variety of guitars and multiple stringed instruments.

All in all, a fine showcase for the classic YES lineup (minus one).
