This was my first Yes related show since Chris’ passing, and at this time it was my last. It may stay that way since this was such a high note for me. I feel that AWR really brought it for these shows and gave us all one last chance to experience a bit of the old magic. Awaken live in the beautiful Saenger Theater will be a memory I carry with me for a long time.

Great performance, and the guys seemed to be having a lot of fun on stage. A few flubbed notes here and there, but it was live rock and roll, and it just plain felt good to listen and watch in such a nice setting. My recording is the one that makes the rounds, by the way. Great night. Not full to capacity but very well attended. Loved the new arrangement of Awaken. Jon was having a great time, pulled his wife out of the wings for a quick dance on Roundabout before running offstage with arms extended like a kid pretending to fly! And why not?
