The Free Radio Association (FRA) did organize in the summer of 1967, just before the Marine Offences Act (MOA) became law, ’The Free Radio Ball of the Year’ at Alexandra Palace in London. Around 3000 people came to see ‘The Move’ and other groups. Deejays Johnnie Walker and Robbie Dale – both from Radio Caroline – hosted the show.
