Q: The last appearance of Mabel Greer's Toyshop at The Marquee was on the 2nd of May 1968, supporting The Nice. Do you remember if this was the same night when Jon Anderson joined onstage for the cover of Wilson Pickett's 'In The Midnight Hour'? A: I don't remember this. I think I had left the band by then and I was in Neat Change, but this is my perception. And somebody has said that Bill (Bruford) was playing drums, I don't even remember that gig. I do remember playing somewhere, certainly not The Marquee, where some guy came up onstage and I think it was Jon, but I hadn't been introduced to him and I think it was some university in London, and that's all I remember. - Peter Banks // According to Peter Banks and Robert Hagger, Jon Anderson's first show with the group was not this night, but their next gig on the 18th of May at St. Joseph's Hall, Highgate, London. It was at the 18th of May Highgate show that the set-list, according to Hagger, consisted of: "Beyond And Before"; "Midnight Sleigh Ride"; "Eight Miles High"; "Light My Fire"; "Electric Funeral".
