before 'Final Eyes' transcribed by: Pete Whipple Jon Anderson:Thank you, thank you very much. This is Omaha Nebraska right? Have we've been here before? Have we've been here before? It seems like yesterday to me. That song that we just did is a song called 'Yours Is No Disgrace'. That was written about 15 years ago and when I look at the lyrics...I was looking at the lyrics just before the show and realizing that a lot of it seems to happening now, you know? The sailing ship is the planet Earth, the sailing ship. Here's a song about love, establishing love but then again the strength in love. From the new album it's called 'Final Eyes'. before 'Heart Of The Sunrise' transcribed by: Pete Whipple Jon Anderson:Here's a very old song, a very old song, a very old song. before 'Solly's Beard' transcribed by: Pete Whipple Jon Anderson:That was quite an experience to sing that one, [???] 'Heart Of The Sunrise'. That was a song that..uh..again the lyrics, I can't believe, you listen to the lyrics and they still apply to today because our cities are just getting so disorientated, you know? We're losing view and sight of mother Earth. But it's something that's got to happen. Something that we got to go through. We got to start understanding a little bit more about mother Earth, the universe and what it really means to us all. We're going to continue with a song, a piece of music, or kinda a acustic piece. Mr Trevor Rabin on guitar and Tony Kaye on keyboards. before 'Love Will Find A Way' transcribed by: Pete Whipple Jon Anderson:Thank you. We're going to something a little differently now from the new album and..uh..thanks for supporting this one. before 'I've Seen All Good People' transcribed by: Pete Whipple Jon Anderson:Thank you so much, thank you. I remember with Trevor and Chris came along with that song, 'Love Will Find A Way'. We sat around in Italy of all places, we sang around and sang it just like that so we got to make a change to sing it to you just like it started. before 'Shoot High Aim Low' transcribed by: Pete Whipple Jon Anderson:Woo! Thank you. Thank you so much. Just want to say one thing. This is our first show and we really want to be touring for a long time this time because this is our 20th year. This next song I just want to say one small thing about this next song. When we're recording this album. This song seemed to sorta come to us like a flowing energy. We didn't really know how to use it both lyrically and song-wise. Eventually we finished up singing about the blue fields, and the blue fields. Just one thing, the blue fields is in Nicaragua and that might give you an idea on what the song is really all about. We don't need any more wars. We will learn to live beyond war. before 'And You And I' transcribed by: Pete Whipple Jon Anderson:Woo! The big generator. We are the big generator. We all are the big generator. We though about maybe not doing this next song but.. Man In Audience: You got to!! Jon Anderson: Exactly, who said that? It's a song we recorded..uh..30 years ago. Again I was looking at the lyrics yesterday, gosh what were singing about, wha..it's such a long time and I really..I really believed in a lot of things right and now I realize those things are really true. The song is called 'And You And I'. before 'Holy Lamb' transcribed by: Pete Whipple Jon Anderson:Thank you so much, thank you. Thank you. That was a song from our album 'Big Generator'. The song is called 'I'm Running'. Really related to some of us are real tired of this silly ol' world that we live in and running to a new world, because we are the new civilizaion whether we know it not. We are the next..energy is coming through, it's coming through very very fast. It's really beautiful. Sometimes, you think back on think many many years ago we used to be really in touch with the universe. We used to be really in touch with mother Earth. We were really in touch with each other. The whole world was brother and sisters. That was many many years ago. What happened is we forgot, it's very simple we forgot and now is the time that we're going to remember. These next 5 years you be ready it's going to come though in your dreams. It's going to come through in many many different ways. |
