I'm still converting live shows for my iPods and am now in the Talk tour phase. I then came across this gem. A lot of the Talk tour shows that circulate through trading circles are of the Concertronics variety which in essence is like FM radio. Here is an audience-recorded show that almost rivals Concertronics. I say 'almost' as it's not perfect. There is more noticeable crowd noise, but not bad at all. And the mix is not right in your face, but it gets close at times. In some spots the bass is a tad over-powering so that there is some minor distortion, but not too bad. There are some samples in the comments. I had a set of CDs from a trade long ago and I was surprised at how good the quality was since Songs Of The Earth website gave it only 3 out of 5 stars. I give it a 4.5 easily.

The band took an intermission after Heart of the Sunrise, as indicated below, but you can't burn to CD that way as set 2 is too long. Most CD sets break after City of Love. However, I have made this show as linear as possible when listening to the whole show. I made some transition melds to tie together some spots where songs faded out and in. The only fade out during the show is after Heart of the Sunrise with a fade in with Cinema. Those fades were on the CD set I had. For some reason City of Love on the CD was before Cinema so it ended up on CD 1, probably for time purposes. I corrected that here. As with most of the Concertronics shows the long intro to Perpetual Change is cut short. Artwork is included from the Songs of the Earth website.
