LDB Master series #16
Hello, this is a collection of masters I would like to seed here. I've been taping shows for more than 20 years and have an awful lot of masters. Most of them are in the old cassette format, some others are on MiniDisc and others are on CD. I've taped many shows of many artists over the years, so don't be surprised if you will find many different artists taped! Some shows are already circulating, some others have not circulated through collectors yet. But most of all, enjoy! They all come from my mastertapes!
YES Milano, Teatro Lirico 14 march 1998 DAT master

That was a real come back gig for Yes! The band had played the very first italian show in the same theatre back in 1971 (with PFM as a support act). The venue was packed, the band in good shape, the audience enthusiastic, so what else could we ask for a show?
The setlist was quite good actually and had just a low moment in Owner of a Lonely Heart and Rhythm of Love which I really did not understand why they were played!
I taped this show with a Sony DAT recorder that a friend used to borrow me from time to time. I still have the master DAT cassette and used it to make the transfer to my HD.
Recorded with a Sony DAT recorder and AIWA external microphone, transfer to HD, edited with SoundForge, indexed with CD Wave and flac-ed.
