Great gig "in the round" by "Yes". I sat and recorded right next to fellow Dimer Newspaper (whose recording will be appearing pretty soon). We both used Edirol R-09 recorders. Newspaper recorded using Core Sound Binaurals powered through the line-in at 24-bit 48kHz. My recording was made with Sound Professionals Croakies model SP-EMC-3 mounted with SP-BMC 2 stereo binaurals running directly into the R-09 mic input at 24-bit 44 kHz. The recordings definitely sound different, and I'm pleased with my results. There were a requisite number of drunk idiots around us, but they aren't terribly intrusive because the sound was powerful and clear from both the stage and monitors. Nonetheless, I prompted a couple of people sitting with us to tell this inebriated guy wearing a scarf and his girlfriend/wife to please shut up (hence the title). They aren't intrusive to the quality of the recording, but it would be nice if people would just STFU when listening to a band of legends like this! Benoit David was excellent (closer to Jon Anderson in timbre than Trevor Horn), and he definitely has the chops to handle Jon Anderson's vocal lines.
