Comments: This is a matrix of both my recordings combined. I wasn't sure that I would share this at all, as I don't know that there is improvement over recording 1 by itself. I'm always dubious about the need for matrixes (matrices?). In some cases, both recordings compliment each other well, and when both recordings are from different areas of the venue, you can lessen the amount of the audience noise. In this case, that benefit does not apply, as both recordings were taken from the same exact spot (the microphones were only a few inches away from each other).

The first two tracks (pre-recorded "Onward" and "Firebird Suite") are from recording 1 only, as the matrix kicks in at the beginning of "Don't Kill The Whale". I only mixed the actual music, the crowd noise and stage banter in between tracks are from recording 1. There are other small spots where only recording 1 was used, such as "Tempus Fugit" from 4:48 until the end of the song. This is because the bass got unexpectedly lower on the Blue Mikey recording, and it didn't sound right mixed. Each track was mixed individually. When I tried to do the whole think at once, the end of the show had a bad echo. Evidently, both recorders record at slightly different speeds. I used the Wavelab mix paste feature and tried to use the same amounts of both recordings in the mix.
