There is a version up on Youtube with different camera angles & sound that is cleaner in overall quality. I'm just uploading what I have. After 1.8 years at Dime, I've never seen this show posted, even though it is a well known show. It may be that many didn't want to post this due to some of the tracking problems (and hoping for a better version). NTSC Format, Entire history unknown but VHS > DVD Video: B Pro-shot with good angles but some tracking problems from original VHS (bad in a few spots) Sound: B Sound is Ok. Especially near the beginning there is a bad buzzing sound. The places with tracking problems have a bad warble to them (especially the first half of "Hearts). Location: Rio De Janeiro, Brazil (Rock in Rio) Date: January 17, 1985 Run Time: 1 hour 45 minutes. Yes - 90125 Line-Up: Jon Anderson - Lead Vocals Tony Kaye - Keyboards Trevor Rabin - Guitars, Keyboards, Backing Vocals Chris Squire - Bass, Backing Vocals Alan White - Drums & Percussion Setlist: 1.01 Cinema - Leave It 1.02 Yours Is No Disgrace 1.03 Drum Solo - Hold On 1.04 Hearts 1.05 I've Seen All Good People 1.06 Si - Solly's Beard 1.07 Changes 1.08 And You And I - Soon 1.09 Make It Easy - Owner Of A Lonely Heart 1.10 It Can Happen 1.11 Roundabout 1.12 Gimme Some Lovin' Amazing Grace, Whitefish, City Of Love and Starship Trooper were apparently also played, but not included on this video. Yes was one of the headline acts during the 10 day "Rock in Rio" festival and played two nights: this one and January 20, to close out the festival. Crowds were estimated at around 220,000 for January 17, and upwards of 400,000 for January 20. |
