DVD 05/09/91 Denver - special 83min edit (mixed by Trevor Rabin)

NTSC Format, Entire history unknown but VHS > DVD

Video: A- - Some macroblocking in dark areas. I think I counted 4 very brief tracking bobbles due to the original VHS. Overall quality is quite good, just not perfect.

Sound: A - Sound is excellent.

This DVD, as noted below, consists of re-mixed tracks from Yes' show in Denver on May 9th, 1991. It only consists of the main numbers (i.e. full band) and does not include the individual solos that are part of the full show. The complete show has been available on Dime for some time, but it has some sound issues ( [Link] ). The re-mix on this was done by Trevor Rabin.

I think this is an excellent companion to the full show DVD for those that want to hear improved sound and balance. I suggest that Yes fans will want both versions.

Just as promised, I've finally made a DVD of the special video from the Union Tour in Denver, 9th May 1991 mixed by none other than Trevor Rabin. Some time ago I put it on YouTube, and a lot of people have kept asking if there is a DVD of that concert ever since. Well, there is one now.

Don't expect its quality to be too good, the original file's resolution and bitrate are rather small. But it's the only known recording and I would be glad if something better showed up one day. Still, this is my favorite Yes tour ever, and if this concert was ever released (preferably in its entirety), it would be the best Yes DVD ever for me.
