He didn't do anything fancy - he simply set the camera on his bag from his seat on the green, aimed it and let it roll; during Steve Howe's solo, he picked the camera up and zoomed in a bit, but, put it back in the original position for the remainder of the concert. His enthusiasm for concerts and collecting was soon to evaporate - he works in the airline industry and the events of 9/11 a few weeks later completely upended his life. He ended up moving away and we see each very infrequently now. He had always intended to do his own version of this, but, never got around to it; he gave me a 1st gen VHS of this shortly after the show and, in February of 2005, I undertook creating a DVD set, using (I think) whotrader's master audio (which, in turn, was patched with TraderBT's audio in one section) to dub the soundtrack. The show is very entertaining, the audio is great - the video is mostly complete, except for the beginning of Perpetual Change. Myself, I'm a fan of audience shot videos - I've shot 40 or so myself, and have 100s of old VHS tapes from collectors around the world. I really enjoy this video, but, your enjoyment will likely be determined by how much you tolerate somewhat shaky, somewhat blurry and generated picture. If you're cool with that, then this might be something you'll enjoy! Please don't profit from this transfer - share it, post it, give it away, but, don't make money off of it. data information: Menu: Yes Chapters: Yes Artwork: No Format: MPEG Video W/H: 720x480 Display Aspect Ratio: 4x3 Frame Rate: 29.97 Standard: NTSC Format: MPEG Channels: Stereo Sample Rate: 48000 Hz Bitrate: 384 kbs |
