This appears to be the master tape of an alternate and previously uncirculated recording of Yes at The Spectrum on July 22, 1975. It could be a first-generation copy, but more than likely it is the original tape.

According to the owner of the tape, the recording was made from seats on the floor of The Spectrum. The more popular and well-circulated tape was made from farther back and higher up in the venue.

This tape has fair to good audio quality, but there are some other serious technical problems with it, and it is missing most of The Gates of Delirium. The track picks up near the beginning of "Soon." At the front of side 2 of tape 1 is a bit of garbled audio prior to the first intelligible tack. This leads me to believe there was a problem with the recorder during the show. At the end of side 1 of tape 1 are more speed problems.

Rather than try to remaster the tape and bring out whatever quality it contains, I decided to simply correct the speed of the tape and create files based on the tracks on the tape. I transferred the files in 24 bit, 48 kHz format to preserve their quality. Feel free to use the tape for any projects and other non-profit uses.
