It's taken me a few years to convert my live show collection of many artists to my iPods and now I'm down to the Yes stuff. Through the conversion process I try to get the artwork for each show and Remy's site is an invaluable tool for that purpose, among others (thank you, Remy). I noticed that in my printed list of Going For The One shows that I had Esslingen, Germany, 1977-12-01, but couldn't find my CDs for that show. Well, I suppose I could download it from Remy's site and saw that there were 3 versions with each missing tracks. According to my notes only Firebird Suite and Parallels were missing. So instead of downloading from Remy's site I went to my tape archive (Dave has all my tapes and archived all of them for me to a portable hard drive; thanks, Dave). I found the SHN'ed files (3 tape sides) for Esslingen and proceeded to see just what I had. I had the more complete show! Firebird Suite and Parallels was missing like all the other versions, but mine had And You And I, Roundabout, Yours Is No Disgrace and the Tour Song! I set to work fixing that show up sound-wise, tracking it and so here it is for those that want the Longer Version.

This is an excellent-sounding show. It is close to an A or at least an A-. I did speed-correct it as well. If you were to burn to CD then I suggest starting disc 2 with And You And I.
