1.01 Rick Wakeman Solo (6.24)

Heres something i think you will like. Its the Rick Wakeman solo from the legendary Wembley 1978 FM broadcast that is missing from just about every version of this show out there. I randomly found this online about 6 years ago. The sound quality is excellent, although its a very low-rate (80kbps) mp3. From what i remember, this was posted somewhere in the comments section of a blogspot that once posted this Wembley show because so many people complained that the show posted was incomplete. And then a random person uploaded this from their personal tape of the original FM broadcast in a comment on the post. Too bad this person didnt post the whole show. Maybe he had the missing 'Future Times/Rejoice'...who knows...Enjoy!!

INFO FY: Unlike 'Future Times', we know the the Wakeman solo was definitely recorded for broadcast because it's included in the Wolfgang's Vault version of the show (WV owns all the archival King Biscuit master recordings). However, it's absent from every circulating FM radio-sourced bootleg. Michael's text above suggests it actually was included in the first broadcast on BBC 1 - Nov 17 1978 -- and if so, omitted from rebroadcasts.
