Sometimes these introductions write themselves. I was struggling to describe
how I felt at the time - that this wasn’t my ideal Yes lineup, that I was
probably just there because Andy, my Ticketron connection, had offered me fourth
row seats. I was listening to the tape on headphones and had reached the beginning
of Track 8, when the 1984 Lost Brook summed it up perfectly. Trevor Rabin was
holding an acoustic guitar and Jon Anderson was getting ready to introduce him when
I leaned over to my companion and said, “If he does ‘The Clap’ I’m leaving.”
