This show was the first show of Yes's 2nd leg of the US tour. It was taped by a friend of mine. He lent me the tapes and I made the CDs. While not a perfect recording it does capture the excitement of a first show and Yes was full of energy. The mics were hot on this recording and at some points near the end of the show the sound system was getting louder and there is some clipping, especially during the last few chords of Starship Trooper. This could not be fixed as its that way on the master tapes, but I did do some sound tweaking. Most of the show, however, is right there in your face, every instrument.
