LDB Master Series #405
Welcome to my Master Series which started way back in November 2005. This series is only about masters, concerts I recorded myself either from audience or from radio/TV broadcasts. Occasionally I could also share masters that have been kindly given to me by many friends and fellow tapers I have been meeting during my long career of live taping.
Please DO NOT share this music on mp3. if you want to listen to these shows on your own iPod, feel free to convert the files in lossy format for your own use and enjoyment. Do not put lossy sources in blogs or sites for downloading, always use the lossless FLACs which will ensure that the quality I have put in these recording is preserved. Sharing mp3 is the right way to make me stop sharing music here.
Also, please do not SELL these concerts. These have been recorded and shared by me with the only purpose to give it absolutely free of charge and no profit should be made by those who took these files for free. I am quite picky and do regular checks on websites to see if any of this series are being sold. I have been quite successfull in having them removed from sale and even to shut down the site (don´t ask me how :-)

This is my Christmas present to all the DIME community. According to Umbiprog, who recorded the show and kindly shared his raw files masters, this was the best show of the entire cruise.
It is well known that Yes put a veto against performing any of the material the band has been playing on tour or on the recent past which meant that all the 70's albums plus Drama had to be erased from the potential setlist. But that was not a bad thing itself (although one may wonder why such vetos could exist) because it proved more challenging for the band and all the guests who performed music you would never listen from Yes today, including side one of the great "Fish Out Of Water" album.
From the music I could gather that it was a special evening.
The recording is very good as for the standards of Umbiprog. There are even extremely funny moments when somebody close to the taper - a lady - asks to get the card to buy a bottle of wine and she insists NOW! :-)
Happy Christmas to everyone and take care, whoever you are!

I shortened the Intro and Outro tracks Amazing Grace by cutting off 3 sec. from the Intro and 6 sec from the Outro (both only a small part of the audience noises) to let all songs fit on a 80 min. CD-ROM. Of course I kept both original files as well.
