Cecil Turner - Rabbittown

Never will forget this show.

I was in (the army) ST Louis, Misouri when the Mississippi River Festival was canceled. I was sleeping in a '65 Nova station wagon in a corn field because I only had money for the ticket. This would have been my first Yes show.

In Munchen (still in the army):

From where I was sitting Atlantis was to the left and Yes was set up on the right. I will never forget Wakeman's "Rib Cage" flashing to his keyboard. Since I am always a guitarist, I was focused on Howe but the entire show just seemed like we were under water on the seabed, looking at the reminants of a whale carcass.

Never will for get the Firebird and the buildup to Siberian Katru.

(with an old man's shakey voice) They just don't do that stuff anymore!
