This gig honestly was fantastic and funny. Jon was starting to telle us a story about the old days when they were recording Fragile, something about a basement in the studio where he found the key to (Schlussel in German). But he forgot the song order so Chris heard what Jon was telling us, walked over to him and asked 'What song are you doing?' (not in mic. heard it clearly in first row). So Jon realises he's introducing the wrong song and a great smile appeared...'We Have Heaven' started and after that the footsteps of 'Southside Of The Sky' came in. Jon mimed to this and said "Now I'm running away with the 'schlussel'" and so he kind of finished the story anyway.
Chris also jammed a couple of times with Jon and the last one during 'Starship Trooper' was very funny. Chris walked up to Jon, who was on his percussion-island and rocked back and forth to Jon. Jon smiled and went along with him...as if they were back in the rehearsalroom in London some 30 years ago.
And there were little signals among all of them; Chris kind of screwed up the mouthorgan part of 'And You And I' and the smiles of Wakeman and Howe were priceless...

Steve Howe performned following tracks as accoustic set:
1. To Be Over!!! (about 6 minutes, same style as on "Natural Timbre") 2. Second Initial
"To Be Over" was THE big surprise !!! Really outstanding..

Although an outdoor show at the earlier planned Museumsinsel would have been wonderful, the venue remained the Tempodrom, a newer theater. Sound and lighting was great for all, but front stage is the only place to be for the real fans. It was really great to see Rick back on stage. This gave the band a chance to play some of their older material the way it needed to be played, and the synergy between him, Steve and Chris was almost visible. In comparison to the Ladder tour, Jon integrated the other players much better into his ballads, usually for building the conclusions, but wow what a difference. The audience reaction was nothing but positive and all of the members signed autographs at the rear entrance on their way to the bus after the show.
