Yeah, definitely Bilton Carnival - Bilton is a village to the east of Hull. As I recall the marquee had a stage at either end, and the bands alternated between them.

Peter Banks's diary (www.peterbanks.net/archive/bands/yes/peters-yes-diaries/) says for this date:
Fri 6 RTA Bilston Carnival Hull Yorks Perhaps someone can decipher what 'RTA" refers to to here? Bilston clearly is not in Hull/Yorkshire.

Please note that Bilston Carnival is held, as its name implies, in Bilston, which is near Wolverhampton / Birmingham and nowhere near Hull.

One eyewitness claimed online :
"I saw Yes in a marquee at Bilton sic Carnival in 1969 as 2nd support to The Gun and Ainsley sic Dunbar's Retaliation."
Bassist Ray Bennett (later of Flash) had a similar recollection that, when he was (for just a few gigs) a member of Gun (when Paul Gurvitz briefly considered switching to rhythm guitar), sharing the bill with both Yes and Aynsley Dunbar.
