Just posted about the March 2 concert...I attended this one as well and my recollection was that it WAS Freedom Hall at the fairgrounds. Fairly certain of that. Can anyone else clarify???
Jeff The Man From Louisville
Absolute and total mindbending event. Sitting front row of the upper deck, the Lazers were all over us at times. Being a huge Rick fan, I was impressed by Patrick's touch and stage presence. Jon was superb and Chris, Steve and Alan gave their normal outstanding performances.
Daniel R. Patmore
One more thing. The Venue was the Convention Center in Louisville, KY on December 8, 1974 not Freedom Hall Coliseum.

Oh yeah, Gryphon was a pleasant surprise too - even though they were obvious "wannabes".
Patrick Moraz was a weak replacement for RW, but the material from Relayer filled in some of the holes. Jon's voice was at its peak (as usual). This show was the first time I ever saw laser-lights at a concert. Everyone in the audience was trying to touch the light at the end of "Gates of Delerium" - I can still see those thousands of outstretched arms reaching for "the light". An image I'll never forget.
