My first Yes show also. Took a Greyhound from Boise as it was the closest venue. Hung around the auditorium from about 10 AM on. Jon came out and talked with us for a few minutes. Completely star-struck.
Quad sound system was more distracting than impressive. One nice effect was that they "stirred" Rick's solo at the end of "Revealing" so that the sound of his Moog appeared to whirl about the room.
That was the only time I heard all of "The Ancient" live. Highly disappointed that they skipped "The Remembering," as that was my favorite side at the time.
Another nice treat was hearing sides of Wendy Carlos's "Sonic Seasonings" bookend the concert: "Spring" before the show, and "Winter" afterward.

My very first Yes concert. First time I ever smelled marijuana. First time I saw so many hippy chicks in tie-dye.

This was my 2nd Yesshow and I went by myself. I lived about 10 mi. away and I couldn't miss this. I was bummed they didn't play The Remembering.
