I'd like to do a couple of new songs from the new album 'The Ladder'. As we travel around America singing these songs. It's great fun I gotta say. Thank you all for coming this evening very special. Woo! Oh yes siree. Chris Squire on bass guitar. Woo! When we were recording..uh "The 'Ladder', our great, great producer Brucie, who's now in heaven. He's a great guy and he told us to write a song about somebody who would influence my life. So I decided to write a song about the great Bob Marley. Just as well, this is called 'The Messenger'.

It's about a song in the '80s and..uh when we started to sing..uh the lyrics I realized how simple the song was and the message in the song is about really listening to children. Because they are, they are the teachers if you listen. You know?. Here we go.
