before 'Gates Of Delirium, The' transcribed by: Paul Ramos Jon Anderson:This must be New Jersey, yeah? Your energy is so strong. Thank you. Thank you so much. We're going to play some songs we haven't played for 25 years tonight, which is quite amazing in itself. This is a song called 'The Gates Of Delirium'. before 'Leaves Of Green' transcribed by: Paul Ramos Jon Anderson:Right at the very end of that song it felt like a ancient time, an ancient place. It's a mystery of life. On guitar we have Mr. Steve Howe. before 'Heart Of The Sunrise' transcribed by: Paul Ramos Jon Anderson:Woo! Thank you so much. I'll tell you something, it feels great to be able to sing again. I got sick last week and I gotta thank my wonderful, beautiful wife Jane, who is so special in my heart as you know, for taking care of me and making me feel good and getting me better. When I was doing some recording the first time we ever got together and recorded, I used to feel this pretty strange energy around the studio. And I wasn't sure of what it meant but it was a very sort of 'sharp' and 'distant' at the same time. So I mentioned it to Mr. Chris Squire on bass guitar here. Woo! Chris Squire. Woo! And we put together a song about the "idea'r" about where that sound that feeling comes from. It comes from the 'Heart Of The Sunrise'. before 'Ritual' transcribed by: Paul Ramos Jon Anderson:We started doing this tour over a month ago now and, uh, one of the things we decided we really wanted to play a piece of music from 'The Tales Of Topographic Oceans'. It was such a very special time in our lives as well as alot of you people out there and, uh, it's so wonderful to be able to play this music again because it reaffirms that we were doing pretty good music in those days and we still enjoy making this music and were so thankful for you for coming to see us play this music. Thank you. It's very unique and truly amazing. The "idea'r" of so many people getting together to have fun and have a great time is always called from the ancient days it's called a ritual. So tonight we'll play for you 'Ritual'. before 'I've Seen All Good People' transcribed by: Paul Ramos Jon Anderson:It's wonderful, It's wonderful because tonight we did a recording and we thank you for enjoying yourselves this evening. My son Damien just started playing the guitar just a couple of months ago. I showed him these chords and he said 'Did you ever write a song?' I said 'yeah'. |
