before 'Don't Go' transcribed by: Pete Whipple Jon Anderson:Thank you so much thank you. It's great to be here in Vancouver. It feels like we spent a lot of time here a long time ago. I know it rained a lot. So when we arrived..uh last night we were told it was a heat wave of course it rains a lot. We love Stanley Park. It's great to be with. We'd like to play..thank you. We'd like to play a couple of new songs..uh we just finished the album just..uh ten minutes ago. It's true, we're still mixing it. It's one of those crazy times in your life when you gotta mix an album and get a show going and stuff so here we go with a new song. The idea of the song is that we tend to beat ourselves up a little bit too much. So just ease off on beating yourself up. The song is called 'Don't Go'. before 'In The Presence Of' transcribed by: Pete Whipple Jon Anderson:It's a new song eh. We're just actually, just one week into the tour this is our [???] show so we're still sorta learning the idea of what we're doing so we're going to carry on with another song from the new album which is called 'Magnification'. As we magnify everything around us that we'll do the same for you. I just made that up. What is means? Whatever you want it to mean okay? The song is..uh started with Alan playing the piano for me one day in the studio. The song is called 'In The Presence Of'. before 'Gates Of Delirium, The' transcribed by: Pete Whipple Jon Anderson:Thank you so much. Thank you. I'd like to introduce you to the wonderful symphony orchestra behind us under the leadership of Larry Groupe. [???]. Uh..we met Larry Groupe, the conductor here and..uh he's an arranger as well. At the beginning of making the new album and..uh we sorta said to each other 'Well why don't we ask him come on tour it will be fun, you know?' Push him into the Yes symphony orchestra if you like. Of course Larry was 'Yes, I can do that. I'd love to' he said. Push him right into the next song. It's kinda deep in there. It's a lot of fun. It's a song called 'Gates Of Delirium'. before 'Solar Winds' transcribed by: Pete Whipple Jon Anderson:Mr. Steve Howe. Steve Howe: Thanks so much. I thought I'd play something new for you and then do something old. So I won't stand here too much in one setting. before 'Wonderous Stories' transcribed by: Pete Whipple Jon Anderson:Thank you so much. Steve Howe on guitar. Surprises tonight. We're going to do a song which..uh [???] but I'm not going to do that because I can't do that and play cords. It's a song I wrote..uh up in Switzerland at about 4 o'clock in the morning. The song is called 'Wondrous Stories'. before 'Perpetual Change' transcribed by: Pete Whipple Jon Anderson:Thank you so much. Thank you. In..uh choosing..uh the songs for this..uh tour Uh..we sorta dove into the real past and came up with this one. Which we hadn't played, actually for 20 years if you can believe that. So we thought we would get it together and see what it sounds like and it sounds pretty crazy to me. It's a little bit about the idea of..uh you know, we..we think human think that they control the world which is absolutely rubbish and if you think about Mount Edna which is doing it's thing. Anyway, it's a song about the power of earth. 'Perpetual Change'. before 'And You And I' transcribed by: Pete Whipple Jon Anderson:Thank you so much. Thank you. [???]. That was 'The Yes Album' wasn't it? I forgot. It was 30 years ago. Here's a song that..uh we always enjoy playing and..uh [???]. Fireworks last night, c'mon. [???]. It started about nine, nine forty five [???]. before 'Ritual' transcribed by: Pete Whipple Jon Anderson:Thank you so much. Thank you. Here is the more intense. When you listen the better we try to make and we thank for that. So we see how it works. I'd like to also again to thank..uh Larry Groupe and the symphony orchestra [???] studio. Thank you. Now we're going to continue with a song is actually is my wife, my soul mate Jane is her favorite song and she plays it very loud whenever I'm home. [???] you know. It's a song from 'Tales From Topographic Oceans' called 'Ritual'. before 'I've Seen All Good People' transcribed by: Pete Whipple Jon Anderson:[???] When we were living here we watched a lot of Circuit TV, most of it from England and there it was Carnation street. East Enders. Gosh. We're going to sing a song for you. Sing along please and halfway through get up and dance. The orchestra promised tonight to get up and boogie halfway through the song. Here we go. In the key of. Alan White count me in. Oh sorry wait a minute. Chris Squire on bass guitar. Chris Squire. Alan White on drums. before 'Starship Trooper' transcribed by: Pete Whipple Jon Anderson:Woo! before 'Roundabout' transcribed by: Pete Whipple Jon Anderson:Thank you so much. Thank you.
