before 'I've Seen All Good People' transcribed by: Pete Whipple Jon Anderson:Thank you so much. Great to be with you. Great to be with you tonight. Thank you so much. So wonderful. before 'Mind Drive' transcribed by: Pete Whipple Jon Anderson:Woo! Thank you so much. Thank you so much. Whenever we come on tour we always want to trying something a little bit new so tonight we're going to play a song which..uh originated in the mid-nineties and..uh so why not try it now and see. Entering, entering the mind drive. before 'Yours Is No Disgrace' transcribed by: Pete Whipple Jon Anderson:Thank you so much. Thank you. Thank you for listening. Thank you. Woo! We play one more song then have some..a cup of tea and some biscuits. A little break and..uh Rick is going to have crumpets with strawberry jam, whip cream on top and his tofu tea. But before that we're going to play a song which is a well known phrase or saying. It's going like this after the count of 4. After Alan. after 'Yours Is No Disgrace' transcribed by: Pete Whipple Announcer:[???] intermission, ladies and gentleman, 15 minutes. before 'Wonderous Stories' transcribed by: Pete Whipple Jon Anderson:Woo! Nearly, Nearly felt like asking for a pint, you know. I'd like a Gin and Tonic please and..uh after this next song we're going to do Bingo. A little bit of bingo and get cards ready. [???]. So we all started off in working man's clubs in England. Your always, you always had the band going first. Band goes on first, then the comedian, then the band goes on again and then the stripper, then the band goes on again so tonight Alan White. Woo! [???] need much encouragement. We spent about 6 months in..uh Switzerland one time and we didn't even learn to ski which is kinda amazing but actually we wrote a lot of music and this is one of the songs [???] Here we go. before 'Time Is Time' transcribed by: Pete Whipple Jon Anderson:Steve, Steve, Steve Howe raving away on the Portuguese guitar. Raving on a Portuguese guitar as it's name is Herbert. Herbert the Portuguese guitar. Say no more. Okay..uh We actually wrote, wrong this song one afternoon from the last album. We did an album a couple of years ago called..uh 'Magnification'. Thank you so much and this is a song we did, as I said, that afternoon and..uh was writing the lyrics sometime about the time we all sent together and..uh many many tours and..uh it's almost homage to the fans of the band. So here we go with a song called 'Time Is Time'. before 'Roundabout' transcribed by: Pete Whipple Jon Anderson:Thank you so much. [???]. Woo! Record that, record [???]. So we were recording the..some of these songs and in fact some acoustic songs and it's available at a record store in your Kmart somewhere like that. Amazon Records I believe. Anyway it's..uh it's part of the Ultimate Collection and..uh so we got together in the studio and..uh. What are you saying Rick? He's always telling jokes behind me and it's terrible. He's always saying something. I that his cup of tea. [???] cup of tea. What have we come to, you know? So Chris came up with this idea so he's going to explain a little more on what we should do next, well how are we going to do these things. Chris Squire: Well..uh we were in Japan on a, on our last tour there and we knew we had to do these caustic songs to add to the..uh 'Ultimate Collection', the bonus. So Alan and I were sitting in the hotel and we thought well why don't we try and do a remake of 'Roundabout' and we thought well yeah that's not a bad idea. We thought like a shuffle, do a shuffle [???]. Jon Anderson: Shuffle. Shuffle Chris Squire: But then we thought, we need, we need a bit more. Something magical ingratiate and then we thought Rick, Rick's probably got something. So here's another cup of tea. Jon Anderson: That was it. Chris Squire: And we said 'Brilliant'. Jon Anderson: Brilliant Chris Squire: Yeah. Jon Anderson: C'mon Brilliant. Chris Squire: Well the same thing. before 'Second Initial' transcribed by: Pete Whipple Chris Squire:Mr. Jon Anderson. Jon Anderson: Woo! Woo! I'll get out of your way while..uh Steve entertains you. Have a good time. before 'Rhythm Of Love' transcribed by: Pete Whipple Steve Howe:Right, thank you. That was 'Second Initial'. Thanks. before 'And You And I' transcribed by: Pete Whipple Jon Anderson:Thank you so much. Thank you. [???]. One of the great reasons to be able to get together after so many years. Who would believe 36 years this year? So wonderful. One of the great reasons is to be able to play this song for you and we thank you for being here so we can play. before 'Ritual' transcribed by: Pete Whipple Jon Anderson:Thank you so much. Thank you. Thank you so much. We get together at least every other year and..uh it's really amazing experience that we still be able to play this music and enjoy playing the music that was written so many years ago. When, when we, when we put this music together we never dreamed that we would still be playing it in the 21st century. We did this music more like a ritual of energy when we did this song so it was called, it is called 'Ritual'. before 'Every Little Thing' transcribed by: Pete Whipple Jon Anderson:We found out later after doing this song that nobody here will know this song but it's a song we put on our first album some 35 years ago. It's a Beatle songs. |
