Jon Anderson: Thank you so much. Thank you so much. It’s great to be with you this evening, thanks for coming out tonight. Really appreciate it. This is, this is just our second show, so, you know, we’re just figuring it out, so have a good time. We’re gonna do a song, we recorded this song about eight years ago, we never played it on stage, though we always wanted to, so, here’s a song called “Mind Drive.”

Jon Anderson: Whenever I look at these, these sort of chords, I wonder, these songs, these lyrics, especially this lyric, where does it come from? What is it supposed to represent, you know? But after a few years, you read them again and think… it’s kind of funny. It’s kind of nice to feel that it means something very, very deep to all of us. And over the years we’ve traveled this journey together, and we’re keeping going, you know?

Jon Anderson: Just as long as you have control, holding the fire; just as long as you have control, this point of your desire. I forgot to sing those lines, so I’m singing them now.Jon: We’re gonna play this next song for you, then we’re gonna go all back and have a cup of tea, have a break and then we’ll return with a sort of acoustic-style set for you.

Jon Anderson: Mine’s a gin and tonic, please. I’ll have a gin and tonic. And a pint for this guy over here (Rick starts playing honky-tonk piano). So, the five of us spent quite a long time in Switzerland, and really the only thing that came out with, was this next song. Oh, sorry. Was it? Oh, the album’s good. Really like the album. Well, we all learned to ski on the last week. We were there six months, and we all learned to ski in the last month… last week, it was the last week. And the snow was gone. That was a waste of time. We got married.

Jon Anderson: Thank you so much, thank you. We’re gonna work out an ending for that…uh, tomorrow. Actually, we, we spent some time down in Santa Barbara making an album a couple of years ago, and uh, this was the last song we actually recorded, and, uh, it had this, this sort of, sort of Beatles flavor, we were going through that sort of idea that if it weren’t for the Beatles we wouldn’t be here and, and so, here’s this song, and, uh, it’s called, uh “Time Is Time.”

Jon Anderson: Many, many years ago, we started rehearsing in a café, underneath, in the basement of a café, and the café was called the Lucky Horseshoe. Yeah! That was in London. And one of the first songs we ever tried out was this next one, a great song from the Beatles. And here we go….
