Jon Anderson: Thank you so much. Thanks for coming out tonight, we really appreciate it. Thank you so much. Whenever we get together and rehearse for a tour, we always try to think of something different, the band hasn’t tried before. So, we’re going to play a song that we never performed on stage, ever. We recorded it in the mid nineties and it’s, ahh, the more we play, the more we realize it’s part of our sort of history. So, we’ll try and get it right tonight. We try our best. Entering the ‘Mind Drive’.

Jon Anderson: Thank you so much. Thank you so much for listening to that one. We're going to do one more song and then we’re going to have a cup of tea and some biscuits, backstage. Some vitamins, things like that. Wooh! But first, this song. [??] Sing along. Wooh! After four, four and a bit.

Jon Anderson: Thank you so much. Thank you. So, ahh, we, us guys have been together on many different occasions, as you know. And, ahh, one of the times was, we all stayed in, ahh, Switzerland for about six months, making an album all the way through the winter. I think it was the last week recording, we decided to try to learn ski but it was too late, the snow had gone! So we wrote this next song instead.

Jon Anderson: Thank you so much, thank you. Wait, wait, just one more time. Oh. He’s been practicing that all day. Let’s hear it again. See, Alan, Alan was brought up, ahh, in the North of England, working the working men’s clubs, where the band would come on first, then the comedian would come on after. Then the band would go on again, then the stripper would come on and the band would play. That’s where he got that from. (Laughs). Okay. Oh no, it’s alright. That’s about when we had to do bingo. Bingo was the next after that. Okay. Calm down guys. This is a funky area. We come, came down yesterday from Fort Lauderdale. It’s a funky place, I must say. You guys are living the life, you are, I can see it. Having a great time. Wooh! So we’re going to sing a song for you now that, ahh, we did this on the last album we recorded a couple of years ago. Eventually, ahh, the song became a sort of homage, homage to the fans. It’s a song about being together. Time after time it’s a really great feeling to sing this for you guys. Alan’s going to introduce it for us.

Jon Anderson: Okay. Thank you. Thank you. Great people. And they all come from that period of time in the sixties when we all started. It’s like unbelievable to be able to come out and play for you in the twenty first century, so thank you. So, we recorded these songs, ahh, for an album that’s out at the moment called ‘The Ultimate Yes’ album. One of the songs, it was Chris actually who came up with the idea, ahh, how to play them in the studio. Mr. Chris Squire, ladies and gentlemen!
Chris Squire: Yeah, well, ahh, Alan and I were sitting in a hotel in Tokyo and we knew we had to do these acoustic songs for ‘The Ultimate Yes’ collection. And we thought, well, why don’t we re-make ‘Roundabout’ [??]. We had the idea, but we didn’t really know exactly how, or what kind of feel to do. We just went into the studio and said to Rick “Do you have any ideas how we could do ‘Roundabout’?”
Jon Anderson: Brilliant!
Chris Squire: None at all?
Jon Anderson: Brilliant!
Chris Squire: Brilliant! Fucking brilliant!
Jon Anderson: Brilliant!
Chris Squire: Brilliant! Alright.
Jon Anderson: Let’s do it like that!

Jon Anderson: There are many great reasons to be here, that we got together. This is ahh, a song, that really is a wonderful, wonderful reason to be here tonight.
before 'Ritual'

Jon Anderson: Thank you so much, thank you so much. We, we ahh, we all feel very, very lucky to be still playing music for one thing and to still have an audience, which is amazing. Thank you. At times during the sort of history of the band we tried so many different kinds of music, but, ahh, right in the middle of the seventies was this sort of moment in time for us to create something that we’re going to play tonight. And, ahh, it still amazes me that we can actually get round to play this music, in this time, this song. Because getting together like we do, we get together every couple of years, it is a ritual in many, many different ways, so we’re going to play it for you tonight.

Jon Anderson: We're going to do a song which ahh, comes from the first album we ever recorded. It’s one of the first songs we ever tried to play. It’s a crazy, crazy, great Beatles song, so please dance and sing along. 1-2-3-4.
