Geoff Dunn The venue is now correctly listed as Nashville Municipal Auditorium. To see any gig at any venue on this Yes tour must have been astounding! Allen Welty-Green Oh yeah - it WAS at the Municipal Auditorium, NOT the War Memorial Allen Welty-Green This was my first time to see Yes... and the DIDN'T do And You And I! I was sitting right behind Michael Tait's light board (with twin cigarette lighters built in!) and was following along the set list. AYAI was on the list, but they didn't play it. They went straight into Ritual (which was noted on the set list as "Side 4"). I was disappointed! I remember the amazing fiery lighting in the Battle of Gates of Delirium, and the amazing percussion preak in Ritual as the high points. Andrew Wells I attended the Nashville date of the RELAYER tour. The venue was the Nashville Municipal Auditorium, and it was packed! I remember being a little disappointed at seeing Moraz rather than Wakeman. The backup band was ACE, who then had a hit single called "How Long Has This Been Going On?". In fact, my date came with me to see Ace and not Yes. This tour was seemed more a push for the YESTERDAYS album than for RELAYER, and I found myself wanting to hear more from FRAGILE than I got. |
